Hihi my travellover, I just come back from Korea just 1 month ago. Yea! is my second time went to Korea. And now I'm eager to share my ski experience in this post. This is my first-time experience ski with my BFF. Before trying this activity, I have dreamt about ski! The speed! The falling moment! Haha XD I'm have imagined I can't complete the slope and keep falling down as my balancing is really weak. But I'm a person who loves speed and challenge, so just bought the ticket with my friend tho'.

I had bought my ski package at Funtastic Korea Website(Currently is Indiway.com). This is my second time using their service as I was satisfied after booking using their website last year.  All the details are shown in the page. It really stated very clearly the term and condition with no hidden info and charges.
There are several ski resort in Korea. And the one I went is Daemyung Vivaldi Park. The ski park that was famous site for the foreigner. Next time i should visit other ski park and bring my ski skill to another level.

In this package, it will be included a
↘ Ski Clothes and Gear
↘ Lift Ticket (6.5 hours)
↘ Round-Trip Shuttle Bus
↘ Basic Lesson

Since we stay near to Hongik University Station Exit 6 and pick up area is at Exit 8, is kinda convenient for us. Before the day we ski, the ski team, JSKI has sent me several photos to remind me of how to go to the meet-up point. A kinda great reminder of the departure day.

We meet at the Hongik University Station Exit 8 and the 2 hours plus shuttle bus. After reaching the destination, we met our ski instructor, Alex who pick up us for the basic lesson session. Alex is a friendly French instructor who can speak well in English.  Firstly, we went to pick up our ski clothes inside the ski world sports shop. The staff passed me the ski clothes and pants as well.

After changing our ski outfit, Alex took down our shoe size and writing down in an information sheet for us to pick up our gears(skis, ski pole and ski boots) at the ski rental counter. We head to locker section to put our personal belongings with two 500Won coins.
After that, we went to the information counter to grab our lift ticket before entering the ski area.
Is time to learn ski!! Ermm..wait a moment !!
OMG!! The ski park is damn big and crowded with people. The ski park was divided into several slopes from the easiest to the most difficult. It was so beautiful when take a glance from top area.

The basic lesson is 6-7 people in a group and took for an hour. Firstly, Alex taught us the technique how to put on and take off the ski. Besides, i also learnt about how to slow down to a stop too. And lastly, we taught how to get up after falling from a snow ski which is the most difficult part.
Then is our free time to ski! I choose the beginner slope because this is my first-time ski and wish to strengthen my ski skills before going another slope. I have taken the ski lift to go up to top of the slope.

I try not to fall down as it was painful when falling down, My butt getting a bruise after practice falling down XD. I try to balance myself by moving myself forward instead of backward.  I quite satisfied with my first ski! I love the moment of speeding from the upper side to lower side.
I managed to ski around 5-6 times as the people getting crowded later. Next time I want to learn how to ski in S shape and other technique as well. After ski, we change back to our clothes and grab some hot food. I have my favourite kimchi ramyeon. It really warms my body in this cold weather. I have ended my ski with a happy memory.

My thoughts:
I would suggest you guys choose weekdays rather weekends as the ski park was crowded during the weekends.
After taking the basic ski lesson, I feel addicted and wish to learn more ski technique in future. For people who love the extreme activity, I would recommend you to take the package of 2D1N and a private lesson with the ski instructor for 4 hours. I bet you can ski very well during the time. A great service and arrangement from Funtastic Korea again. I really have a great ski time and wish to learn more ski!

Hey peeps!! What mobile data will you gonna use when you travel? Pocket Wifi? Data Sim ? Or International Roaming? For me, most of the time I'm using pocket wifi as I travel with a bunch of friends. This time I'm travelled with a friend only so, I plan to use data sim for this time instead of pocket wifi. I know Korea has an internet speed 10X faster compare to Malaysia. So is a great way to use their local telco data sim compared to international roaming.

I had purchased the data sim and the ski package at the same website (Funtastic Korea has been changed to Indiway.com ) since they have the best deal and service. I bought the 10days deals and sim card is under the 2nd biggest service provider in Korea, the KT Olleh Company.

For your information, the most accessible network for foreigners is KT Olleh by Korea Telecom. KT Olleh SIM cards can most easily be purchased in their "global stores". The airport pick-up counter's staff can speak multi languages. FYI, KT Olleh can support 4G/LTE network that can speeds up to 100 MbpsSo, I bought them on Funtastic Korea Website and pick up at Jeju airport. Funtastic Korea website available to choose for pick up at most all of their Korea domestic airports like Incheon, Gimpo, Jeju, Gimhae or the KT Office at Hongdae.

The price of the data sim are 10% off discount
↘ 5 days plan:₩27,500→ ₩24,750(10% OFF)/ per SIM card
 10 days plan: ₩38,500   → ₩34,650(10% OFF)/ per SIM card
↘ 30 days plan: ₩71,500 → ₩64,350(10% OFF)/ per SIM card

You can pick up the data sim within minutes at KT cs counter by showing your mobile email voucher. The last-minute purchase will be one day advance by 4.00pm Korean time. You can purchase it using a different kind of payment such as credit card, pay cash at FUNKO office. After I reach their Jeju pick-up counter, they explain and help me to install the sim card on my phone.

So how to make the booking?
Step 1 - Choose pickup point, date, number of SIM card and proceed to the checkout page to complete payment.
Step 2 - Check your Email Voucher.

Step 3 - Show the email and your passport to redeem your SIM CARD.
✓ Please bring your passport and the Voucher to redeem your SIM CARD
✓ Please test the SIM CARD carefully before you leave the airport.
✓ You should pick up your SIM card yourself. No one else other than you can pick up
the SIM card reserved under your name.

My experience:
I found the difference between using data sim and pocket wifi which is we can contact each other using data sim if we get lost whereas pocket wifi cannot. I was satisfied with the service provider that provided by Funtastic Korea. I have no problem to pick-up my data sim card as the staff can speak Korean, English and Chinese. It has a smooth connection with the internet as it has 5Mbps 4G LTE data speed. I can contact my family every day during the trip. And even i can load for lots of video streaming using the phone without lagging. The most important thing is I can upload photos and Insta story smoothly on social media every moment =)

**Pick Up Service at Jeju Airport temporarily stop until further notice.

This post is shared about my car rental booking in Jeju, Korea. For your information, there is quite hard to get a public transport in Jeju. It not only will cost your time a lot but also the distance from a place to a place is quite far.  So, we choose to rent a car in Jeju =)

First, you have to prepare those document before you rent a car. You have to pass to the rental company when you register.
1. International license (RM150)
2. Driver’s License issued in your country
3. Credit card (Visa)
4. Passport

I have found out Funtastic Korea (Currently changed to Indiway.com) not only provide ticket booking service but also car rental in Jeju too!

And I saw there has 35% discounts from the normal price! It meets my budget too! I like their website because all the information was stated clearly.
They have shown the model type and the photo of the car too at their website.
Booking Step:
1.Choose your preferred date and the car model type your prefer
And we choose Hyundai Avante MD =)
2.Click Book Now and it will add into the cart menu!
3. Click Pay Now and it will show the voucher tickets you have chosen!
4.Fill your details =)  I will recommend you to get an English GPS if you not good at Korean
Then choose the payment you prefer =) There are 4 ways: Credit card via PayPal or EximbayKorean Bank transfer or Cash Payment at FUNKO office
I choose to pay by credit card via Eximbay since the office only at Seoul
5.After payment done, you will get a confirmation email
Done and ready to Fly to Jeju =)

Once you reach Jeju, you have to go out from Gate 5 to the Car Rental House to get your shuttle bus to the Car Rental Company. Mine is SiXT Car Rental Company! All this information will be shown in the confirmation email. So no worry =)
Look for the SiXT Shuttle Bus
The car rental company was just 5 minutes away from Jeju Airport.
Their service was quite fast if you have ready your all documents and show your email voucher too! I will recommend you guys to buy full coverage insurance(16,000-30,000KW/day) and English GPS (11,000KW/day) so you can travel no worries! This is the extra cost that not included the car rental fee. You may pay it either cash or credit card. And you receive your key and a copy of the agreement(need give back when returning the car). Check the condition of the car and sign the agreement.
Get You Car And Begin your Jeju Tour =)
When returning the car, you just need to give back the car key and agreement as well. The staff won't check the car if you have purchased full coverage insurance.  Pay additional fees if necessary.

My car experience:
This car was fuel saved and the engine was quite smooth which suitable for 4 people! Booking with Funko was easy and fast ! I really satisfied with their service. Their information was detailed enough and I have no worry to book my car rental using their website.
