--DAY 2--

We get up to pack our things and follow our plan to Plitvice Lakes National Park to start our adventurous journey! Before that, we passed by a bakery shop and buy some bread for our breakfast. The journey took us about 2 hours plus. Finally, we reach there and we park near the entrance. The map of the National Park was big! Let me show you the amazing nature. You are recommended to use one day to explore this park.

The national park has 7 sites and I have visited some of it like Upper lakes, Lower lakes, Plitvica stream and Korona River. Due to weather issue, I can't visit Šupljara Cave as the walkway has been flooded! What a sad news !!

Plitvica stream

The 4 km long Plitvica Stream, one of several steady water flows in the National Park and the third largest source in the karst area of the Plitvice Lakes Park, gushes out from its source and never dries out.

After passing through Plitvica village, the stream reaches the Lower Lakes canyon and its waters plunge over 78-meter-high limestone cliffs, thus forming the Great Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Croatia.

Korona River

About ten meters downstream of the Great Waterfall, the waters of Plitvica Stream break down into the dispersed waterfalls of Lake Novakovića Brod. This point represents the source of Korana River, located at 475 m above sea level.

How to go?

For me, previously I had mentioned in the previous post :SPLIT , my friend and I had rented 2 cars for this Croatia trip. So, I would suggest you the BEST is to rent a car as the distance from place to a place in Croatia is quite far.

If you only plan to go the National Park, here is the way:

From Zagreb Airport>> take the connecting bus to the main bus station>>Bus to National Park (about 2hours plus) Around RM40/trip

From Zadar Airport>> take the connecting bus to the main bus station>>Bus to National Park(about 2hours) Around RM50/trip

From Split >> take the connecting bus to the main bus station>>Bus to National Park (about 5hours plus) Around RM80/trip

SYNOPSIS:

A bounty hunter is someone who gets paid to do someone’s bidding. One must have a specific expertise in order to qualify. Lee San (Lee Min Ho), who has a mysterious past is an expert martial artist. Yo (Chung Hon Leung) is a former INTERPOL agent turned investigator. Together they opened a bodyguard service and accepted a job to protect Sam, a reporter from Incheon, South Korea. As fate would have it, the duo ended up joining a group of bounty hunters that include the smart and beautiful Cat (Tang Yan), a genius hacker Swan (Karena Ng) and Bobo (Louis Fan) who has incredible strength. Their first mission was to find the serial bomber whose target is Hotel A.

The group tracked the bomber from Bangkok, Thailand back to South Korea and split up to look into the bombing of Hotel A in Jeju. While Lee San and Yo excelled, Swan, Cat and Bobo were kidnapped by Tommy (JeremyJones Xu), the son of the ex-Chairman of the hotel. Tommy confessed to be the mastermind behind the bombing. What was his motive? Will the bounty hunters complete their mission?.

Oh Yeah! Holiday ~ But thinking of going anywhere for a short break??!!

Bukit Gambang City Resort is definitely a good choice for you and family to have a short break from the hustling city. This resort is located at Gambang, Kuantan where need 2hr30min drive from KL.

The ARABIAN BAY RESORT

I need to tell you this resort is damn big. It’s consists of 2 resorts, water parks, safari park and global heritage site. My friends and I have stayed in the Family Deluxe Room at the Arabian Bay Resorts. When I walk into the lobby, I can see the two big camel statue right in front of me. It looks real ..haha. Let me show you the room.

The room was quite spacious and suitable for the family stay. The room cleaning service will be carried out every day. They had provided us mineral water. tea, coffee for the dining area while shampoo and toiletries were provided in the bathroom. I have a comfort stay there. The air-conditioner was cold enough during hot season.

SAFARI PARK [Wild Savannah & Night Jungle]

Later, we going to the Wild Savannah area for sightseeing by their zebra theme tram bus ! Oh Yeah~ I’m so excited because did not visit Zoo for a long time. haha! I have met the First White Lion in Malaysia. He sleeps on the floor like a boss. At night, I still have the opportunity to dinner with him at Simba Hill Gourmet Hall..haha.. Besides the white lion, I have seen a lot of animals which I never know before. Their safari park is damn big. Oh ya~I have seen the American Bear in the park. They are lazy leaning on the floor and seem very relax. They have a nursery for taking care the baby animal before putting back to the wild. I have the great opportunity to take a closer look of baby hyena. If you want to get closer to the other animal , you may have the chance to feed them. Moreover, there are still have a lot of show and activities provided for the visitor. Don't miss it !

WATER THEME PARK 

Water Theme Park is best to visit during the sunny day. Their water  park is the host of the “Best Water Park in Malaysia” awarded by Malaysian Association of Amusement Themepark and Family Attractions (MAATFA). There have a lot of water activities like 6 lane racer, kids slide, glacier river and wave pool. The entrance fee is quite affordable. This water park really a suitable place for family outing.

ACTIVE ACADEMY

Talk about their outdoor extreme activities. They have provided ATV rides, flying fox, Paintball Game, Archery, Skytrail and lots more. If you are an outdoor activities lover, you should join all these activities. I really enjoyed the activities so much.

GLOBAL HERITAGE

Lastly, I want to tell about their Global Heritage Villa which using all the oversea countries’ name such as Amsterdam, San Francisco, Venice and others. They are open for investment when they are completed for construction.

Hi, Guys, sharing my favourite foods @ Bukit Mertajam , Penang. There are still a lot of delicious foods but these foods that I listed are what I highly recommended.

Let’s me show you my TOP 5 Editor pick !

1. Yam Rice with Salted Vegetable Soup 芋头饭和猪什汤

This is non-halal food. I had eaten yam rice since I was a kid. Many people will prefer going the other branch. But for me, I’m loyal to BM yam rice which located at Sentosa Corner. The salted vegetable soup has pork meatballs, lean meat, three layer meat, pig blood cake and pork intestine.

2. Jawa Mee 爪哇面

I can’t really find other best Jawa mee after eating this..haha I like their prawn fritters so much when eating with the mee.  Besides that , you also must try their Pasembur 青鱼 which contains cucumber, bean sprout, beancurd, prawn fritters, fried octopus, egg and being served together with chili paste.

This main dish I want to recommend is the Curry Fish Head. This is the best curry fish head I ever had in my hometown and even in other states.  Their curry fish head is tasted different with others.

This bak kut teh is very famous in the town. And now it has relocated near to my house. Many people come for this bak kut teh before it opened. They don't sell dry bak kut teh. If you arrive there , you need to take number for the queue.

Address: Taman Betik Manis, 14000 Bukit Mertajam (easily found along the roadside)

Price: RM8.50 /pax
